The mud fever potion, works a treat & he loves licking the bottle. Have been recommending it to all n' sundry.

A pic of Tamarisk the highland that had no mane last year and got a respectable 5th at Newark and Notts and 9th at Lincolnshire show this year, both big classes of mixed breeds and beautiful ponies. Thank You we could not have achieved this without your sweet itch lotion.

"Hi Dawn, Just a note regarding your shampoo bar. I bought it for my pony who suffers with sweet itch quite badly and has to wear a rug 24/7."
"I bought the sweet itch bar and its great! My pony has very sensitive skin and I use this shampoo everyday in the warm weather to remove his stable stains and keep him clean so as not to attract as many flies. Its fantastic, it gets rid of the stains and is very easy to rinse out and doesn't leave a nasty residue."
"I have also used it to give him a full bath for shows. Its gets his mane and tail incredibly white and his coat feels great after use. It lasts for ages and is great value for money. Thanks for a brilliant product that works without upsetting my horses skin."
"WOW I think I have found a miracle cure for sweet itch thanks to my good friend Dawn.
I bought my new pony in Feb this year when I bought him I was told he did rub in the summer months."
"As soon as April arrived he did begin itching I bought him a sweet itch snuggy hood for the stable and a boett rug for the field. These worked OK while the weather was not too hot but when the weather turned he was rubbing through the hoods and his mane was coming out onto the hood."
"When I was changing his rugs he would scratch as soon as they were off and excessively roll to itch. He started rubbing on the side of the stable so I put him bars up but he then stressed out and went very run up and with him been a show animal he needs his weight. I had tried other products on the market and they did not really help at all. My poor pony was constantly itching on the floor, up the wall, in the grass, on the hay net and on the door I felt so sorry for him as he was stressed with the itching!!!!!"
"I rang Dawn up to see if she knew of anything to help. Originally she sent me a bar of soap I washed his mane that day and it worked really well I was so impressed!! The only problem was as his sweet itch is so bad I would have had to wash his mane twice a day and as you can imagine this is not really ideal. So I rang Dawn back and she told me to try the lotion. I was absolutely amazed with the results!! I put it on that night under his hood and he did not touch his mane for the first time he was relaxed and calm. When I changed his rug he did not even try to itch I have taken his bars off which settles him and he is now putting the weight back on so a brill result all round! I have used the soap and cream for weeks now and it is great!! I left my friend to do it the other night and she forgot!!! When I arrived in the morning he had rubbed his mane a bit I was gutted!! I put it on straight away and it was an instant relief and he has not touched it since."
"I recommend this product to my friend who has a pony with sweet itch and the results are as fantastic as mine."
"My pony has the worst case of sweet itch ever and it works on him so I am positive it will work on any horse."
"Thanks Dawn for been a total life saver and making my pony a very happy boy I will always be using this product!!"
"Your a star!"

"Dawn has been part of our team for this season keeping 'In To Win' in great physical shape both before and after his runs. I feel massage has been beneficial to him as he has been tight in muscular areas because of the nature of point to point racing."
"In to Win" is featured as a case study.

"Hi Dawn, Stella is doing fantastic at the moment and is enjoying being pampered. I took Ledger in the show last week and I've attached a photo of myself and her. There both doing well. Yet again thank you for all your help"

“Hi Dawn,”
“Just wanted to say a massive thank you for your continued work with Tia. As you know she is a very tense horse and from the first visit I saw a dramatic difference in her movement. She was and has continued to be more expressive and relaxed in her work and she is just getting better and better. She is more consistent in her jumping finding it easier to answer any questions asked and also corrects any mistakes I make! Tia loves the visits, totally loves being worked on and with your help I have been able to continue certain massages between visits to help get the best from her.”
“Thank you again and we look forward to your next visit.”
Kathryn.
"Hello Dawn, hope you are ok? since you came to see Mac he's improved 100%,so much so he and Hannah now belong to pony club and are both enjoying themselves, they got their first rosette last week and it was a fantastic feeling, all your massaging tips are finally paying off, he bucks occasionally but more out of mischief than pain. Thanks to you we now have a pony that is enjoying his work due to us massaging him on a daily basis."
"Thank you very much for the parcel Dawn. I am looking forward to trying the lotion this weekend. Indi loves the massage along the shoulders, neck and saddle area. I see what you mean about horses pushing back against the movement. One of the other owners was asking about it all when she saw how much Indi was enjoying having his neck and shoulders massaged. He is not so sure about the poll and tail but will work on it. He can't quite make up his mind if he should be biting me or standing with his neck stretched down and a glazed expression on his face lost in the sensation when I do the poll area. Gentle persistence seems to be doing the trick."
"I really enjoyed watching you do the treatment, and thought you were fab with him...... Thanks!!
I rode him the next day, and he was still crabby whilst being saddled and brushed, but just managed to behave himself. The next day I took him over into the park on his own, and he did the best jumping he has ever done!
Everything was on a perfect forward stride and felt effortless - it was heaven!"
"Sam a grumpy 26 year old 3/4 Arab Cross, was finding it difficult accepting semi retirement gracefully, he had major tactile barriers issues and was wary of touch."
"Since Dawn has been working on Sam he enjoys being groomed and is happier in himself”

"Arthur has suffered from mud fever for 4 years, even prescribed treatments did not work, but after using Dawns soap it’s all completely cleared"
"I have had a young horse in training who was very highly strung, through a combination of aromatherapy and equine body work once a month she is now a completely different horse who is relaxed and very happy, therefore making me a happy owner (mummy)"
"When Dawn started working on Bronte he was a nervous and unsure horse with a lack of condition to his muscles making him an uneven ride. Her EBW work and Aromatherapy treatments have helped physically and emotionally reassuring him through the transition of moving yards an unsettling experience therefore helping generally regarding his disposition. He is now much better equipped physically due to the continued work. We are now in the process of working on Brontes Donkey phobia."
"The massage has worked wonders for my horse Stroma a very anxious highly strung Thoroughbred mare. Stroma had been under the vet for back and stifle problems for a year with no positive outcome prior to Dawns treatments. Since receiving regular treatments with Dawn she has become more supply and relaxed through her poll, neck back and her stifles. Although initially Dawn had to follow Stroma around the stable to massage her, she now very happily stands still, eats her hay net and even falls asleep sometimes displaying the biggest yawns!!"
"The Sweet Itch shampoo has been great I have finally found a product that my pony won't shy away from, he loved the smell so much he tried to eat it. For the first time in 4 years his mane hasn't been bald and sore. Highly recommended. Thanks from Sarah and Cheeky."
"After being a little skeptical just after the initial session we saw amazing results including improved muscle tone, a glossy coat and a change in attitude towards work especially jumping. After 12 months of stiffness and unsoundness our pony is back to his winning ways in W.H.P. and Showing. I can honestly say it is definitely worth every penny."
“Dawns sheath cleaner worked the first time with brilliant results. Excellent product which I highly recommend."
"Dawn has been working on one of my Point to Point horses following an accident in the horsebox which injured his suspensory ligament and his back. The horse was placed on a long period of box rest, she helped him relax and keep calm mentally. This horse is significantly better due to Dawns work and time spent. His tendon is also back to normal and cold. We are very pleased with her work."
"Red is a 13.3hh roan New Forest pony who is 16 years old. He is an RDA pony at Wakefield which involves mainly walking in sessions with unbalanced riders. Over the past year he has become stiff and can appear lame at times.
Dawn initially made an assessment of Red looking at his conformation, shoeing, tack and the type of work he was doing. Before working with him she observed his movement when ridden by both able bodied and disabled riders and being lunged. Dawn advised us that we should take care to work him before the RDA session and walk him afterwards, she made us aware of the extra stresses and strains that are put on his body due to the nature of his work and how we could help him.
Dawn made a series of visits where she used aromatherapy and massage to help reduce the sore areas on his body. Red enjoyed the treatments, which could last up to 1 1/2 hours; once he knew Dawn he would whicker when he saw her approaching. After treatment Red was so relaxed he was reluctant to move and had to be coaxed back to his field. After each massage session Dawn gave us a chart showing his worst affected areas which were shaded in bright colours and as the course progressed the coloured areas were reduced. Red benefited from aromatherapy massage sessions, we saw an improvement in his movement, he stayed sound and his attitude to work improved.
Dawn is very professional with the pony and gives understandable explanations of her work and good advice to our staff. We would continue her sessions should problems reoccur with Red."
"Since working on Jack he has become more relaxed and free in his movement. He is no longer tripping up out on rides or in the school as frequently as he did. The EBW has helped with his balance."
"My horse improved dramatically, he relaxed both mentally and physically and became a nicer more co-operative animal to handle and ride. Thank you"
"Dawn did a fantastic job with one of the best jumpers here"
“Excellent explained exactly what was going to be done, Explained and showed me techniques which have helped him”
“Handled my horse very well, careful and caring towards him. Tom fell asleep most times he seemed to enjoy the body work”
“Professional and very aware of behavioral warnings from horses. I am happy with the work carried out.”
“Very knowledgeable and helpful, Dawn Clow is very dedicated to this type of work”
“Excellent, knows what she’s doing, both horses have improved immensely. The treatment works.”

I first met Dawn at a demo where I asked her to look at my 7 year old recently broken mare that I was unable to get to canter correctly, Dawn worked with me over the next 5 months getting Verdel not only fit for competition but calm and content in her work. In the first year of her training we qualified for the Festival of Champions at the Yorkshire Show ground where she won her class and the overall horse championship, appearing in the Equestrian Life magazine, it was a great achievement as she is homebred and trained by myself, Dawns work had a big impact on not only her physical state by her mental one as well, thank you Dawn.

Blossom totally enjoying her massage!!!!!
"George is a 10yr old dales Pony who last year became very fat, due to
unforeseen circumstances I as unable to ride him. As time went by I started
to ride him but as the fat became less he was not moving as he should , a
friend thought his back was the trouble , so a back man came and only
found slight tension, he proceeded to do the flexion test on him, and
that was when things went from bad to worse."
"He would not let me pick his off hind leg up, my blacksmith came and took off his shoes with great difficulty, the vet came the following day but found nothing, a course of
Bute was proscribed, both the blacksmith and the vet said it was all in
his head."
"We rode out occasionally but he is flat footed so every stone or
uneven ground he walked on made him stumble.
Then another friend suggested an Equine Body worker by the name of Dawn
Clow, she had used Dawn on her Cleveland Bay as she has tight muscles."
"I rang Dawn she came and gave George a through going over from nose to
tail, he had slight tension on his neck and back, I told her everything
that had happed to him, she said it appeared that his groin had been pulled
when he had the flexion test done, so every time I tried to lift his leg
he though it would hurt him."
"Dawn gave him a full body massage which chilled him out completely. Dawn also showed me how to massage his groin area and within a couple of weeks I was able to pick his foot up and clean it out, something I had not done for some months. My blacksmith came
a month after and got his back shoes on him, and George well he is back to
his old self and moves how a Dales should."
"I would highly recommend Dawn not just for injuries, but to give your
Horse/Pony a good pampering, we humans treat ourselves to a massage so why not our equines. So if you’re equine deserves a pampering or if you feel
something's not quite right then give Dawn a call you will be amazed, and
your equine will love it."

I bought Winne as a 5 year old from Holland. He suffered very badly with separation anxiety and there was really no reasoning with him when you took his friend away. You could not hack him alone or even turn the other horse out without him, he panicked at everything. He had been on the point of being quite dangerous in the beginning but we have persevered with him in the hope given time, he would improve. I was beginning to think I would have to sell him if we could not get to the bottom of it and he would have to go to a home where he would never need to be on his own at any time.
I found a card for Dawn and gave her a call to see if there was anything we could try to help Winne. She was very friendly and very helpful and suggested I try a spray to relieve Winne's anxiety. We took him to a local school about 10 minutes away which would normally have entailed a lot of banging in the trailer and a lot of Whinnying (I think there is a clue to his name somewhere there!). However, there was no banging about and no whinnying, at one point I thought I had forgotten to load him! He came out at the school, relaxed and managed nearly the whole lesson without shouting for his friends. After the lesson he stood by the trailer and yawned and yawned and then loaded perfectly and just shouted once to his friend when we got home. All I can say is the spray certainly had a beneficial effect on him and we have used it ever since, just when he needs it but as it works in 5 mins or so if he does get a little worried, we can use it to help settle him again. He is now an absolute pleasure to deal with and is such a lovely horse. It has also helped his confidence to grow as he now knows he can manage without his friend and he looks more to me now for reassurance which has helped us to bond even more. I wish I had known about Dawn 12 months earlier as it would have been so much easier on the horse and certainly easier for me. By the way - my horse is now definitely not for sale!!

Dawn had worked on Watson as a 6 year old in 2008 at a previous trainers yard he had a bucking problem and was proving unsuccessful in point to point his current owners had wanted to sell.
The Barrs purchased Watson and employed Dawn under recommendation from the previous trainer to work with Watson to support their work with him. The Equine Body Work freed up his back and shoulders the bucking stopped his training and fitness program moved up a gear.
Watson however hit another barrier to his racing career in 2009 he began with frequent bouts of colic Dawn recommended peppermint tea and charcoal tablets mixed with his feed to support his stressed digestive system, the colic stopped and in 2010 as a 8 year old he finally ran his first trouble free point to point race.
