"George is a 10yr old dales Pony who last year became very fat, due to
unforeseen circumstances I as unable to ride him. As time went by I started
to ride him but as the fat became less he was not moving as he should , a
friend thought his back was the trouble , so a back man came and only
found slight tension, he proceeded to do the flexion test on him, and
that was when things went from bad to worse."

"He would not let me pick his off hind leg up, my blacksmith came and took off his shoes with great difficulty, the vet came the following day but found nothing, a course of
Bute was proscribed, both the blacksmith and the vet said it was all in
his head."

"We rode out occasionally but he is flat footed so every stone or
uneven ground he walked on made him stumble.

"Dawn gave him a full body massage which chilled him out completely. Dawn also showed me how to massage his groin area and within a couple of weeks I was able to pick his foot up and clean it out, something I had not done for some months. My blacksmith came
a month after and got his back shoes on him, and George well he is back to
his old self and moves how a Dales should."
